Day Six

We are a bit behind, spending many hours at Parts Obsolete looking for all the right hardware. Today Jimmie and I had "All Access Passes" at Emory Motor Sports, very cool. Special thanks to Gary, Rod, Sean, and Don. Jimmie hard at work from sun up to well beyond sunset. Check out the vented rear brakes with SC brakes and adjustable spring plate. Check out the thickness of that rear torsion bar, Damn!

Tomorrow, more of the same;-)

Day Four

The car color was very moody today;-)

Jimmie was cleaning and organizing all his parts today, making good time on the wire wheel. He had the bearings pressed in and I help hammer a few thing but Jimmie is really moving on this car and no short cuts on parts and how everything will look once back on the car, top shelf all the way. Thanks to Gary Emory for his help finding great hard to find items for the car, and uses of the press. Don Marks has built up from .031 bodies two beautiful distributors for both of Jimmies engines. Don is currently working on Jimmies Carbs for both engines.

Day Two

We got the car to my house today in the pouring rain, UGH! Oregon! Got most of the new parts organized and starting on some undercoating touch ups. Jimmie is going with a cool painted dash. Had to put the new gauges in to see how it would look. Also had to see how the color would play with the Minilites. Bitchin!

New Years Day

Day one, Jimmie arrived and we went up to Camas to hook up with Kevin, but no show. Then we drove over to Vancouver to see if Greg (the painter) was in his show. No show. Oh, well. Went home and talked about the plan and opened up packages from ebay wins for the car. Like Christmas baby;-)
